Alternative Dispute Resolution is often a better choice than litigation. Once suit is filed, the court is in control, not the parties, and time drags on, with cost expanding to fill the time allotted. ADR is usually faster and less costly and provides substantially more confidentiality and control to the parties over expense, time, and ultimate resolution.

I am a generalist who is also a patent, trademark, and copyright attorney. I have been a computer programmer, a chemical process engineer, and a consulting engineer. I left the large law firm environment to become a sole practitioner so I could concentrate on ADR. I love being a neutral because it is sometimes emotionally challenging, usually intellectually interesting, and always highly satisfying.
